This "baby" of the range of Zyxel's most excellent ADSL router family is aimed squarely at users who have a dedicated firewall appliance of some sort. The router has no firewall, just full feature NAT, so you can let your main firewall appliance do it's job without teh router "helping out" unexpectedly. As it's "basic" in function, it's cheap too. There's no firewall, no VPN, just NAT.
